General Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Prices and warranties

The prices listed in the bhproducts.ch catalogue are expressed in Swiss francs (CHF), net amounts, VAT included and guaranteed.

Items covered by a warranty are subject to the terms of the offer valid at the time of purchase. The warranty takes effect from the delivery date of the item, evidenced by the accompanying document (invoice), which we ask you to keep carefully.

2. Product availability

Our delivery commitment is void in the event of failure or non-compliance with supply deadlines on the part of our own suppliers, provided that such unavailability is not attributable to Beauty Hair Products Sàrl.

If an ordered product is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you:

• An adjusted delivery date;
• An equivalent product of similar quality and price;
• A full refund of the corresponding amount.

3. Payment methods

We accept the following payment methods, all processed by PCI-DSS certified providers guaranteeing the security of your banking data:

4. Delivery and shipping

4.1 Delivery times

Available items are shipped via Swiss Post within approximately 2 to 5 working days after order confirmation.

4.2 Shipping costs

• Free delivery from CHF 250.- of order value (within Switzerland);
• A flat-rate shipping contribution is charged once per order below this threshold;
• Orders placed before 6:00 pm are shipped the same day (working days).

4.3 Delivery areas

We deliver exclusively within Switzerland. Deliveries outside Swiss territory are not currently offered.

If you live abroad and would like to order our products, please contact us at info@bhproducts.ch to discuss the options available on a case-by-case basis.

4.4 Special cases

Deliveries to PO boxes are not carried out for orders containing insured-value items.

5. Returns and exchanges

5.1 Return period

You have a period of 30 days from receipt of your order to return any product that does not suit you, without having to justify your decision.

5.2 Return conditions

To be accepted, returned items must imperatively be:

• Intact and complete, in their original packaging;
• Accompanied by all original labels and accessories;
• Accompanied by the delivery note or a copy of the invoice.

5.3 Return costs

• Simple return: shipping costs are borne by the customer;
• Exchange order: shipping costs for your new order are covered;
• Defective product or error on our part: return costs are fully covered by Beauty Hair Products Sàrl.

5.4 Refund

After receipt and inspection of the returned product, the refund is processed within a maximum of 14 days, using the same payment method as the original order.

6. Legal warranties

Please check the condition of the goods delivered as soon as you receive them, to rule out obvious material and manufacturing defects as well as transport damage.

In accordance with the Swiss Code of Obligations, you are required to notify us of any defect or anomaly affecting the delivered goods as soon as possible so that we can remedy it.

6.1 Warranty period

• Legal warranty: 2 years from receipt of the product (non-consumable items);
• Manufacturer’s commercial warranty: according to the specific conditions of each brand (BaByliss Pro, Elgon, etc.).

7. Data protection

All personal data collected when you place an order is processed in accordance with the new Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, for residents of the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

8. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions are governed by Swiss law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

Any dispute relating to the interpretation or performance of these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Geneva District Court, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
